These windows pivot either vertically or horizontally, and are usually manufactured from aluminium or steel.
Most common problem is pivots fail or go out of line, this can cause the window not to close correctly, causing drafts, locking mechanisms not to work, or water penetration.
These problems can be solved by either replacing failed parts or adjusting and servicing existing.
